History:

As of 2009 -

  • QAI Federation Chapter Program has restructured its agreements
    and as a result, the new naming convention previously
    established was not approved, therefore the name of this
    Monterrey Mexico QAI Chapter will remain as Monterrey Software
    Quality Assurance Association (MSQAA)
  • This website will be going under updates to meet any QAI Global
    Institute agreements


As of 2008 -

  • The original name of this QAI federation chapter was:  Monterrey
    Software Quality Assurance Association (MSQAA), as of February,
    2008 this name has been changed to Monterrey Mexico QAI
    Chapter (MMQAIC)  to meet new alignments established by QAI
    Federation Chapter committee.
  • QAI will provide a new format to publish content on the web, thus
    people will be redirected to the new website as soon as it has
    been published.
  • This website will be going under updates to meet the new naming
    convention establsihed as of February 2008

As of 2005 -

  • The MSQAA initials stand for  'Monterrey Software Quality
    Assurance Association', these initials were carefully selected to
    represent the zone where this federation chapter was initiated.
  • Our MSQAA federation chapter was approved by the Quality
    Assurance Institute (QAI USA) under the supervision of Mike
    Pregmon on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. For more information on the

  • This MSQAA federation chapter is the first initiative of its kind
    established in the country of Mexico. For more information please
    visit the following web site:
  • This MSQAA federation chapter is a non-profit organization,
    contributions can be made by any organization in Mexico willing to
    make a difference.
  • The web site to represent MSQAA federation chapter was
    launched on August 20th , 2006.

  • The MSQAA Federation Chapter is located in Monterrey, Mexico.
  • Monterrey, Mexico is the third largest city in Mexico, this city is
    one of the most important production and trade centers in the

Founders:

  • Max Leon and Gabriel Rodriguez Munoz are the primary founders
    of this QAI federation chapter in Monterrey Mexico.
  • Max Leon (Vice President)  is currently working for a software
    consulting company in Monterrey Mexico in the QA department
    (Accenture) He obtained CSTE certification in December 2004.
  • Gabriel Rodriguez Munoz (President)  is currently working for an
    outsourcing company in Monterrey Mexico in the QA department.  
    He obtained CSTE certification in December 2004 and CSQA
    certification in June 2006.
